We are very excited to welcome Ben Bulger as our new head chef, Ben was previously with Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons.
Welcome to The Clanfield Tavern
The Clanfield Tavern lies in the heart of the idyllic Cotswold village of Clanfield and dates back to the 1600’s
The pub successfully combines two very distinct styles; in the main building you are met by low original oak beams, flagstone floors and roaring fires. Whilst in the adjoining conservatory the style is more contemporary with reclaimed oak floors, ethically sourced teak furniture and a striking wine wall.
The Clanfield Tavern provides a cosy place for a glass of wine from our innovative wine list or a pint of guest ale from our weekly changing selection. Alternatively chat over a fabulous cappuccino or pot of fair-trade tea. If the mood takes you have what is widely regarded to be the best Bloody Mary in the Cotswolds.
Should you feel hungry there are homemade classics including steak and kidney pudding, fish and chips or fresh sandwiches and salads.
Alternatively for something a little more elaborate try the Kelmscott Air dried ham with russet apple, chicory and walnut salad or Confit free range Pork belly, parsnip puree, roast apples and cider jus. If you are fortunate you may even find some of our Gloucester Old Spot pork and quails egg scotch eggs on the bar to nibble on.
